All of my trust is in my body

Anne B | Patient |

In March 2014, we marked the three year anniversary of my cancer diagnosis. When I was diagnosed, TRUST was all about the doctors.I had to trust that they knew what they were doing, that they were taking the best path to ensure that my cancer would hit the road for good, and that partnering with them instead of another set of doctors was the best decision that I could make. Now, three years later, all of my trust is in my body, that it is healthy enough, physically and mentally, to prevent a cancer recurrence. I have trust in myself and in what I’m doing to live a healthy life. In sickness and in health, I need to trust that I can handle whatever is put in front of me, good or bad, happy or sad.
