All shapes and sizes

Anne B | Patient |

Communities come in all shapes & sizes. Community for our little family is made up of family, neighbors, colleagues, and school friends. While I was sick,

all of these people joined together to support us to bring food, to pick up the kids from school, to watch the kids so my husband could go for a bike ride.

With the sick days behind us (please God), our community of friends & family continues, made much stronger by those dark days.

Let me be clear: it is not that the dark days made the community but rather that they highlighted this incredible scaffolding that we have around us. They brought all of the love & support to the forefront, and now, as days come & go, we try to support our friends & family in the same ways that we were supported then and now.
