Every Little Bit Helps

Anne B | Patient |

Help is so important when you’re going through cancer, in every area of your life. Help with the kids, with the dog, with cooking, with work. Help with dressing, with clearing drains, with showering, with getting home from chemo. When you are down and out, you realize how much you need other people, how important it is to have friends & family; why you have spent so many years building a scaffolding of support, not knowing that someday you would need it. A friend is going through chemo now, every other week, and she asks for prayers to help her through the treatments. During my chemo, I remember thinking that the prayers really helped me on my dark days, that I could feel them carrying me to the other side. So I am more than happy to offer my prayers, every little bit helps.
