Change is the epitome of the cancer experience. It is reflected when one goes from being “normal” to one living with cancer; from “active treatment” to “new normal” cancer survivor; from “cured” to “living with metastatic disease”. Change is physical, psychological, and mental adjustment to whatever life throws at you. And the thing is, change happens, and we simply cannot control it. But, despite what fate has in store, we can evolve to meet those challenges. We too can change, and for the vast majority, we do it without ever thinking about it.
